The Ottawa Rideau Speedeaus d'Ottawa are inviting members of Technosport to join us in a charity 1,500m swim-EAU-thon on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Centre aquatique Paul Pelletier pool, 325 Alymer Road.  This is a beautiful new salt water pool just 5 km. west of the Champlain Bridge.

Technosport swimmers who want to participate in this event on Saturday in two weeks are invited to fill in the attached registration form with essential information and approximate intended time for their 1,500m swim and send the form as soon as possible to nrss.regist@hotmail.ca by return e-mail, registrants will be informed at what time between 9 and 11 they will be asked to begin swimming.

The minimum donation for participation in the Swim-eau-thon is $20 for the benefit of the AIDS Committee of Ottawa (ACO) or the Bureau régional d'action SIDA. (BRAS). Swimmers can either pay on deck, or donate that sum or a greater amount and immediately receive a charitable receipt by accessing either ACO  http://www.aco-cso.ca/htm or the Bureau régional d'action Sida http://www.lebras.qc.ca/index.php bringing some proof of a contribution to such worthwhile cause for having a good experience before swimming.  Perhaps members of Technosport might also like to ask their friends, family members and support their participation in this event in Aylmer in two weeks.

Rideau Speedeaus swimmers looks forward to another occasion to share the same water as Technosport swimmers on April 2.
